To summarise: A stinking cloud will not affect you if you are:

* Wearing an amulet of magical breathing; or
* Polymorphed into a form which does not require oxygen to breathe
* Polymorphed into an undead form

If you are poison resistant, the stinking cloud will momentarily blind
you (for 1 turn), but will not otherwise harm you.

Similarly, monsters within the cloud are affected only if they require
oxygen to breathe and are not undead creatures. If they are poison
resistant, you may see them cough (if you can see them at all, that
is), but they will not be harmed by the stinking cloud.
